Our Welcome Notes Training prepares participants to use music as a tool to support refugees and asylum seekers.

•• Topics Events Training Welcome Notes

This training has been developed for musicians and music pedagogues from all cultural backgrounds who wish to increase their ability to work towards the social inclusion of refugees and migrants, specific to the German context.

In June, we were invited to Heek, Germany to run a training in partnership with the Landesmusikakademie NRW, preparing local musicians to work with refugees and asylum seekers across Germany.

Musicians are invited to join our upcoming Welcome Notes training in the Netherlands. This 4 day training prepares participants to use music as a tool to support refugees and asylum seekers.

We partnered with SIT Graduate Institute to run a two-week professional training program in community music leadership and conflict transformation, as part of the CONTACT summer program.

Community Music Leaders, trained by Musicians without Borders, ran workshops with young children in eco-drumming.

Welcome Notes Italy was launched with the first training for 30 musicians in Italy in partnership with Musicians for Human Rights.
