Ways to get involved
Join the 88 Keys
The 88 Keys form the foundation for Musicians Without Borders’ work using music for social change and peacebuilding. You become a Key by pledging a yearly donation of at least € 1,000 for the next five years. This group provides us with a secure funding base, ensuring the sustainability of our projects.
As a Key, you will be invited regularly for special concerts, presentations, or personal encounters with our musicians, project managers, and staff. Above all, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are part of our core network, making all of our work possible. Your contribution may be tax-deductible.
To join the 88 Keys or if you have any questions please contact Anna at [email protected]
Become a Friend
Our programs bring lasting positive change – because we invest time, energy and patience to make them sustainable and locally-owned. That type of long-term investment needs a steady base of support – which is where our Friends come in.
This community is an important driving force supporting the slow and steady work of lasting social change. Our Friends’ monthly donations allow us to plan ahead, improving our methods and growing our programs, which helps us bring more music every day to those who need it most.
Become a Friend by pledging a monthly or quarterly donation to Musicians Without Borders. No strings attached: You can change your pledge at any time. Thank you for this valuable support!
Support us with a donation
From rock music schools to youth orchestras, from rap workshops to music leadership training, from music therapy sessions to summer school concerts: we use music to bridge divides, connect communities, and heal the wounds of war.
Your donations, big and small, help us deliver music programs that impact thousands of people. Please consider supporting Musicians Without Borders today.
Fundraise for us
You can make a big difference to our work by organizing your own fundraiser or benefit event. Many musicians before you have supported us immensely by dedicating concerts or albums to Musicians Without Borders.
Facebook’s built-in fundraiser functionality makes it easy for friends, family and colleagues to support the cause you care about!
Make a peaceful world your legacy
When you include Musicians Without Borders in your will, you leave more than just money. Your legacy will be the message that the world should be a more peaceful place and that it is within reach. We will bestow your legacy according to your wishes to the best of our ability.
Are you considering leaving (a part of) your heritage to Musicians Without Borders? Please contact us via email. We would be happy to provide you with the information you need to come to a well-informed decision.
Give to the instrument fund
To donate musical instruments or equipment, please contact our instrument fund coordinator Irma Kort via email.
Please note that at the moment, unless you can provide transport yourself, donations of instruments are only possible in the Netherlands.
The fund has been made possible with the help of:
- Many generous individuals, associations, and foundations who donate their instruments,
- Instrument builders and restorers who donate their time and expertise,
- Friends and colleagues who help transport instruments where they need to go.
Join Musicians Connect
We invite you to join our Musicians Connect group on Facebook. This group is open to musicians and organizations around the world, who are interested in using the power of music for connection, peacebuilding, and social change.
Members are welcome to showcase their work, share opportunities and pose questions to the group within this theme.
