Yesterday, 5th May 2026, 2 of our Music Connects bands played at this year’s Bevrijdingsfestival in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (Brabant), The Netherlands!
Bevrijdingsfestival (Liberation Festival) is a yearly celebration occurring across the Netherlands, held on the 5th May to celebrate the end of Nazi occupation in the country.
This year, Eurokrem from Skopje and Melodify from Mitrovica travelled across Europe for this opportunity, which, despite the weather, was attended by thousands of people. Zorana from Melodify said it was the largest crowd she had ever played to. The bands each played 30-minute sets of original songs, and songs by other bands in the Music Connects program.
