Tax info, ANBI and CBF

Musicians Without Borders is registered as a stichting (foundation) under Dutch law, with the status of cultural ANBI. ANBI stands for Algemeen Nut Beogende Instelling, or Public Benefit Organization (PBO). This means that donations made to Musicians Without Borders are eligible for tax benefits. Musicians Without Borders does not pay inheritance tax or gift tax, so your full contribution goes to support the work we do.

Musicians Without Borders is recognized as a charity by Netherlands Fundraising Regulator CBF. When a charity has been recognized as a charity by the CBF (CBF-Erkend Goed Doel), you can trust that the organization has been closely reviewed.

The Dutch government encourages donating to charity by making them fully deductible on your income tax. On top of that, donations to a cultural ANBI institution like Musicians Without Borders get an extra deduction of 25%, which brings the total deduction to 125%.

Periodic gift agreement

Via Global Giving

It is easy to make a tax-deductible donation in the USA via the online donation platform of our partner: Global Giving. We have a special donation page there for our campaigns and post project fundraisers there as well. Transactions are possible via PayPal, Credit/Debit accounts and Apple Pay and payments go swiftly to our bank account.
