One of the questions we get asked quite a lot is “what does my donation actually do?” or “how can I impact people living thousdands of miles away?” These are both great questions, and both have a lot of answers.

In can sometimes be hard to quantify the impact that you have by donating to Musicians Without Borders – how does one put a price on peace, community wellbeing, and security?

While we may not be able to answer this directly, we can give you a bit of an insight into how much it costs to keep our projects running, and so, for your reference, we have created a simple guide with some of our costs, and what your donations directly fund. This isn’t a complete list, but it will help give you an idea of what we consider when running projects:

20 EUR: New strings for an ‘Ud for a child in Palestine

20 EUR: 1 month travel costs for a music leader to visit centres and work with 120 children living with disabilities in Rwanda

As you can see, a small or a large donation can really go a long way in our projects. By donating one of these amounts to our summer campaign, you will have a direct impact on the people who rely on our projects, who use music to build bridges and resilience.
