Organized around the United Nations International Day of Peace, this collaboratory at The University of Melbourne will include a keynote address by Laura Hassler, founder and director of Musicians without Borders.

Welcome Notes Italy was launched with the first training for 30 musicians in Italy in partnership with Musicians for Human Rights.

Yves Kana works with Musicians without Borders since 2012 as a music teacher and assistant trainer. He reaches 1000s of vulnerable children with his work. We need your support to continue and train more Rwandan community musicians in 2017.

Janneke Daalderop, a former trainee of ours, created this rap inspired by her experience in our Training of Trainers program.

This year, MwB is embarking on a multi-year research partnership with Queen’s University Belfast: Sounding Conflict: From Resistance to Reconciliation.

With your help, we will train 15 more Community Music Leaders, and support our team of 30 experienced Community Music Leaders to work with over 1000 children in 2017: former street children; orphans; and children affected by HIV.

On June 21, we invite musicians, bands, choirs, ensembles to join us on this day by organizing benefit concerts in support of people living in divided cities, refugee camps, poverty or exile because of war and armed conflict.
