Musicians without Borders has partnered with CONTACT to run a three-week professional training program in peacebuilding and conflict transformation with electives in community music leadership.

We’re back in El Salvador for the fourth training week in our program Soy Música.

We are training 35 Salvadoran music teachers and community facilitators to become community music leaders, and use music as a tool to promote inclusion and social harmony among thousands of children in El Salvador.

The program is in partnership with Unicef El Salvador and the Ministerio de Educación E.S.

On April 14, ethnically mixed Mitrovica Rock School band Proximity Mine performed for hundreds of soldiers on a truck stage at a benefit march and concert. The proceeds of the event will go to a public address system needed for school concerts.
