The Mitrovica Rock School ended the school year with a big concert of five ethnically mixed bands. The bands performed the songs they had written during eight training weeks this year, and presented a CD with all original tracks recorded.

Today we would like to introduce you to a musician residing in Musicians without Borders headquarters’ city – Amsterdam. Rob Fransen is joining us for World Wide Music Day with his community music event in Hendrik Jonkerplein square.

Since January 2017, our deaf workshop leader Halimeh has given more than 100 music workshops to deaf children and children with special needs.

We partnered with SIT Graduate Institute to run a two-week professional training program in community music leadership and conflict transformation, as part of the CONTACT summer program.
