Using music to bridge divides, connect communities,
and heal the wounds of war and conflict.

"If there is something to be changed in this world, then it can only happen through music."•• Jimi Hendrix

World Wide Music Day, Fête de la Musique, started in Paris in 1982 to make music free and accessible to everyone. Today it is celebrated on June 21 in over 700 cities around the world. We invite musicians, bands, choirs and ensembles around the world to organize benefit concerts each year on June 21st to help raise funds and awareness for our work of healing and reconciliation through music.

Since we began our World Wide Music Day initiative in 2014, over 350 musicians from more than 30 cities around the world have helped raise support for our projects around the world, bringing music into the lives of thousands of men, women and children in Palestine, Rwanda, Kosovo, Uganda and Northern Ireland.
