In May, MwB director Laura Hassler spoke at TEDx Nancy about the work of Musicians without Borders and the power of music to foster empathy among communities that have been divided by war and conflict. Watch the full presentation here.

On May 3rd, 2014, MwB program manager Wendy Hassler-Forest spoke at TEDx Tirana about the Mitrovica Rock School in Kosovo. In the talk, Wendy discussed some of the lessons learned in the Mitrovica Rock School project that may contribute to other efforts as reconciliation in the region, as well as her personal experience working in former Yugoslavia.

Musicians without Borders has partnered with SOAS (University of London) to organize a symposium and training on music for social change and peacebuilding.
