For All: Youth and Musical Connections
25-27 June, 2018

MwB director Laura Hassler will be a featured speaker in the panel ‘Social Role of Musicians in the 21st Century’ as part of the seminar For All: Youth and Musical Connections. The seminar is co-organized by Amigos do Guri (Brazil) and Jeunesses Musicales International (Belgium).

Amigos do Guri is the non-profit organization that manages Projecto Guri – the largest socio-cultural music teaching program in Brazil – on the coast and countryside of São Paulo state.

Jeunesses Musicales International (JMI), founded in Belgium in 1945, is the biggest music NGO in the world, with national and associate members in 55 countries. Its mission is to “enable young people to develop through music beyond all boundaries.”
