Chloe Trujillo designs guitar strap in support of Musicians Without Borders
January 19, 2018   West Balkans

After months of collaboration, The Guitar Strap Co is debuting the first series of guitar straps featuring Chloe Trujillo’s unique and creative designs at the 2018 NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) EXPO in Anaheim CA on January 27th, 2018.

In 2017, The Guitar Strap Co, Australian custom guitar strap designers and manufacturers reached out to American artist and entrepreneur Chloe Trujillo to design something special. Trujillo is a well-known painter, fashion designer and surfboard artist. She is wife to Metallica’s bass player, Robert Trujillo, and is the mother of two.

The Guitar Strap Co Artist Collaboration Project is entitled “Artists Signature Series” and aims to give back to the partnering artists’ and musicians’ favorite charity. Trujillo is the first of many artists to work with The Guitar Strap Co to help make a difference. On her behalf part of the proceeds will be donated to Musicians Without Borders.

Musicians Without Borders will allocate Chloe Trujillo’s generous support to its Mitrovica Rock School in Kosovo. Mitrovica was left ethnically divided by the war in Kosovo. The Mitrovica Rock School brings together Serb, Albanian and other youth through a shared love of rock music, and restores the city’s proud rock music tradition, which was all but destroyed by the conflict. Our Rock School students, who include artists as well as major Metallica fans, are incredibly inspired by the connection to the Trujillo family.
