MwB director Laura Hassler will speak on the topic of Reconciliation and rock ‘n’ roll: unlikely musical allies at Unlikely Allies, a conference hosted by Impact Hub in Berlin.

A description of her speech is as follows:

With an ‘unlikely ‘ approach to peacebuilding—through music—Musicians without Borders starts outside the box. A small, creative organization, MwB works in conflict areas around the world, partnering with local musicians, local organizations and colleagues and friends for whatever extra expertise is needed. In Europe’s most divided city, Mitrovica (Kosovo), MwB initiated the city’s only successful reconciliation project with the most unlikely allies of all—rock musicians!

Unlikely Allies gathers 150 of the brightest minds from around the world to tackle some of the most pressing issues of our time, from migration and education to smart cities and climate change.
