Eco-Drumming Rwanda
March 27, 2017   Rwanda

“It’s an amazing way to build a community.

A happier community.

By music, by empathy, by connecting all together.”

Community Music Leaders, trained by Musicians without Borders, ran workshops with young children in eco-drumming. They built instruments together from objects normally thought of as trash, and then performed together their favorite songs.

In addition to strengthening community among the young people, the workshop also achieved a shift in consciousness towards issues of conservation and the environment.

We’re asking your support to raise funds to allow these young Community Music Leaders to continue and to expand their work.
