Today we delivered the first series of workshops to 230 children in the Jeel al Amal School in al-Azariyeh. 72 children are living in the orphanage Jeel al Amal. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and were impressed by their efforts to make Jeel al Amal a safe and inspiring learning environment in the midst of a rather depressing town. We will be back with another series of workshops next week, after which the children will be ready to perform their new music skills!
