The War Trauma Foundation recently issued a report on the Mitrovica Rock School, following an evaluation of the Rock School’s approach to inter-ethnic reconciliation.

According to the evaluators, the school has been effective in their efforts to diminish stereotyping and to build bridges between communities, filling a gap in the cultural and social scene in Mitrovica for youth. Interviews with students revealed the same:

We just care about the music. We are only humans, the same as I am, nothing more nothing less.

We do not know about the war. Now we meet each other, we care just about the music.
