“Why does everyone wants us to be silent

to lower our voice

let’s dance, let’s sing

let’s draw our own life”

150 children, age 6-12, participated in several workshops from Musicians without Borders during the annual summer camp of Ghirass Cultural Center. They performed twice: once for each other and the center’s staff, and once for their parents.

Above lyrics were written in Arabic by Mohammad Azmi from Dheisheh refugee camp. The youngest children sang, while the older ones played different chords on the flutes made from plastic tubes. Enjoy the pictures!
