World Wide Music Day
Sunday, 21 June, 2015

Worldwide

On June 21, musicians, bands and ensembles from around the world will celebrate World Wide Music Day in support of Musicians without Borders.

Participants in our Rwanda Youth Music program will release a song – Ubumuntu – for the occasion. 25 MwB Community Music Leaders in Rwanda have written and recorded the song, calling on people to develop a compassionate way of living, understanding the situations of other people, and living with kindness towards each other.

How can you get involved?

We invite musicians, bands, choirs and ensembles around the world to organize benefit concerts on June 21, 2015 to help support our work. To see the list of events registered so far and to register your own event, click here.

You can also support us by joining our Crowdspeaking campaign on Headtalker. It is completely free and will help in spreading the message and reaching more people on June 21.
