2014-2015 Community Music Training Begins!

Musicians without Borders is proud to announce its 2014-2015 Community Music Training program in partnership with Cultúrlann Uí Chanáin in Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland.

The training will consist of four intensive training weeks led by experienced Musicians without Borders trainers, and will focus on building musical and group leadership skills to address the needs of children living in fragile environments. The training periods will be supplemented by ongoing mentorship from a local music coach as well as one-day events by experts in the fields of community music and community music therapy.

The first training week is planned for October 30-November 2 and will be led by Danny Felsteiner, former project manager of Rwanda Youth Music and percussionist Chris Colleye.
