Musicians without Borders is
an international network organization that uses the power of
music to connect communities, bridge divides and heal the
wounds of war and conflict. The original Rock School concept
was born from an encounter between MwB-trainers, CBM staff and
Mitrovica musicians, after which MwB collected and shipped
pop-rock music instruments from the Netherlands to equip the
Mitrovica Rock School. As the lead organization in the
Mitrovica Rock School project, Musicians without Borders
coordinates the roles of all partners and builds local
management and organizational capacity.
