Training week in Srebrenica and
villages Shaking the Road 2011!
MwB trainer Sherwin Kirindongo trains young
workshop leaders in Srebrenica (Bosnia and Herzegovina) to work with
large groups of children.
Large and diverse
groups of children
From August 5 to 11, Sherwin has
worked with the young workshop leaders of MwB project the Srebrenica
Music Theater. The aim of the training week was the equip the
"Young Team" with the skills to work with large and diverse groups
of children.
Reaching out to
villages
Some of the trainees were once participants themselves. Now they are learning
to take over the workshops, travelling to the villages surrounding
Srebrenica to reach out to the area's different communities. Sherwin specializes
in working with large, often unknown groups of children, improvising with materials and
creating major events with basic techniques and lots of enthusiasm.
