Musicians without Borders United Kingdom

Plans to set up a UK branch of Musicians without Borders are firmly underway, directed by Manchester based singer Lis Murphy. Lis developed strong links with the former Yugoslavia since 1999, delivering music projects with young people and performing with the Mostar Sinfonieta and Ulysses Theatre Company. Since returning to the UK she initiated an award winning project in Museums and Galleries working with refugees and asylum seekers. She recently toured the UK with Mostar based Sevdah singer Teo Krilic.
