Benefit Concert in Westerkerk, Amsterdam

In the context of the International Day of Peace a peace concert will take place in the Westerkerk in Amsterdam on Tuesday 21st September 2010 at 20.15 hrs. During this concert there will be special attention for the work and projects undertaken by Musicians without Borders.

The evening's programme of music will be provided by jazz and gospel singer Denise Jannah with her band as well as by the organist Jos van der Kooy, who will play organ works by J.S. Bach. John Faasse, chairman of the Council of Churches and also chairman of the deacons of Westerkerk, will be opening the evening. Guest speakers are Sandra S. Lutchman, the chairwoman of Amnesty International Nederland, and the director and founder of Musicians without Borders, Laura Hassler.

Concert starts: 20.15 hrs. and doors open at 19:30 hrs.
Admission: € 20.00 p.p. Reduction for Stadspas/CJP/65+ € 10.00 p.p.
Children up to 12 years: free.

Tickets can be obtained from the AUBTicketshop. Part of the proceeds of ticket sales will be donated to Musicians without Borders. In addition tickets are available in the Westerwinkel on weekdays from 11.00 to 15.00 hrs and on Sundays after the church service.
