Night of Peace 2009
IKV Pax Christi, partner organization of the MwB project
Mitrovica Rock Shool, is organizing The Night of Peace,
in Club Odeon in Amsterdam on September 21, 2009
On
the Night of Peace on September 21, 2009 from 19.30-02.00
in Club Odeon in Amsterdam the International Day of Peace
will be concluded with Jan Pronk, Ruud Lubbers, secretary
of state Jack de Vries and formal staff member of Obama,
Kirsten Verdel.
Music and celebrations
With relaxed reggae music of Ziggi, Balkan sounds of Mala
Vita and swinging sounds of the dj duo ‘Kraak and
Smaak’ and Shit is Bangin. There will be a celebration
of the Ied-El-Fitr (end of Ramadan), discussions on digital
activism in the Middle-East, workshops and the possibility
of pimping up your sneakers by MySnyX & K-Swiss.
The main event
The Night of Peace is the main event on the International
Day of Peace, proclaimed by the UN and is organized by
IKV Pax Christi together with NCDO and broadcaster LLink.
